I know the prevailing attitude is that anyone who would look at erotic/X-rated pics of kids should be shot, but if that's all they're doing, I don't think they deserve to have their lives ruined. Especially considering that 30 years or so ago, CP wasn't even illegal (from everything I've read). Also, when you consider that pictures of 17 year olds are legal in other countries, but considered CP here, the idea of being locked up for essentially the rest of your life for having them becomes even more outrageous. I used to know a guy who had some of Traci Lords's old movies. He liked them because of Traci herself, not because she was underage in them. Lots of guys liked Traci back when she was making adult movies. If the police had found out that he had them, he would have been locked up and become a registered sex offender. Ridiculous.
