BSA offers bounty hunters $1 million

p2pnet news | Products:- Amateur online bounty hunters take note.
The BSA (Business Software Alliance) says it’ll pay anyone willing shop anyone else for software copyright infringement one million (count ‘em) dollars.
Over in Oz, though, spilling the beans to the BSA local is worth only measly $10,000.
Or it was in 2006.
Back in the US of A, “More than a year after increasing its bounty from $200,000 to $1 million for qualified reports of software copyright infringement leads,” reports PC World.
“The BSA hasn’t yet paid out $1 million, although we are very willing to do so if the opportunity arises,” it has BSA spokesman Rodger Correa saying.
In the first quarter of 2008, the BSA paid out a mere $58,000 to 14 separate Boba Fetts, Correa states, says the story.
