Vancouver’s Bill Vince dies, aged 44

p2pnet news | Movies:- Vancouver’s Bill Vince, nominated for an Academy Award in 2007 for producing Capote, has died of cancer at the age of 44.
“I could talk to Bill,” said Seymour Hoffman said in a statement, states the Province, going on to quote him as declaring:
“Bill wore his heart on his sleeve, thank God. He’d fight with you, thank God. He knew how to hug, thank God. He was attracted to passion, therefore I was attracted to him. He stood by me and I’ll never forget it. I loved him, loved him.”
Vince’s biography of Truman Capote, “saw Hoffman win an Oscar for best actor,” says the Canadian Press.
He’s survived by his wife, Cynthia Miles, and three children, Miles, Michaela, and Nathanial, says the story.

“Private funds donated will be matched by the British Colunbia Film Foundation, to create an annual scholarship fund to be awarded to an aspiring filmmaker who has experienced and overcome adversity in their life,” says the Province, adding:
“Vince himself overcame severe childhood dyslexia enroute to his film career.”
