Thanks, Jon. Is there any way to get direct downloads? This computer has a problem with Flash sites like Youtube and can’t view streaming Flash videos. I used to recommend the divx-based video site Stage6 before it closed, but now don’t know any non-Flash sites available.
How about posting some Magnet, Arlnk or ed2k links? Most readers here should know what they’re for

@2: If you get Media Player Classic, you can watch most Flash-based videos in it, and to get the actual direct download links, goto http://www.keepvid.com and paste the URL to the page with the video.
