A few days ago I brought this site live:

I’m a high school teacher in the GTA area who put this together solely as a public service. Not looking for any donations, and I definitely won’t be selling the site to anyone.

If you think it does a good job of clearly explaining how bad the Rogers rate plans are, please spread the link to family and friends.

Yeah it would make sense, stupid that the original owner sold the site though, it just turned into a cash grab, and to be honest it makes me sick. I even offered to host this guys site and give him free bandwidth but whatever. lol

As for Rogers, they do a lot of dirty things, past and present, so I tend to speculate what they’ll do next. If they somehow got control over that domain it certainly wouldn’t surprise me.

If you look at other Rogers owned domains, they include ihaterogers.net/com/org (not the .ca though), rogerssucks.com/net/org/ca, etc.

In other amusing news, I recently got a “Thank You from Rogers” email giving me yet another lame promo…. They send these to every longtime wireless sub but it seems like they’re trying to be nice to people who might wanna buy an iPhone as its a strange time to send these out at the moment. lol

I doubt very much if Rogers is in any way involved. IMHO, it’s an Oilchange marketing ploy, pure and simple.

eNom is just the registrar. Apparently they changed to GoDaddy and there ain’t any WhoisGuard on it anymore.

This would appear to be correct in relation to the new Toronto based owners. Hopefully their word is kept true and they’re not just some company working in proxy for Rogers to gain control of the site.
