I’ve always thought these Quebec sovereigntists to be rather uppity. They should be kissing English ass on the Plains of Abraham, considering they were defeated in WAR and CONQUERED by the English. Why the victor was so benevolent thereafter is beyond reckoning.

Cultural racism rears its ugly head; and what a surprise, it’s the french wannabes. The french have always traditionally been envious of the cultural and linguistic dominance of English, and here it spills over. Inelegant, petty, unsophisticated, barbaric, rude, innately arrogant and pretentious. These qualities most aptly describe the french (and unfortunately, quebeckians also). Steadfast cultural envy is becoming their infamy. Alas, this only begets a surfeit of gloomy lamentation. Accepting your inferior position in cultural and linguistic matters shall end this interminable jealousy and antipathy toward the English.

Jingoes usually suffer from an inferiority complex. In fact, the french are very similar to the welsh in this subject.
