Last H.O.P.E. background material
p2pnet news view | RIAA News:- Ray Beckerman runs Recording Industry vs The People, the now-famous blog which doubles as a unique repository for RIAA cases and associated materials, and Zi Mei helped disassemble some of the RIAA’s more outrageous ‘evidence’, p2pnet posted recently.
And they’ll both be at tomorrow’s Last H.O.P.E. Conference in New York.
Plan on being there? If you do, you may want background material, so Beckerman obliges, ie:

How can judges be so naive as to accept what the cartels claim at face value? Lies and deception is their trade as with all cartels. The 1% of the time when the truth slips out by accident is calculated to keep people confused. Why can’t the legal system grow a brain and stop dispensing with justice instead of contaminating their decisions with convoluted legal rhetoric and mumbo jumbo.

I meant “and” not “instead of“.
