p2pnet news view | Music:- Amy Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, thought he’d be sentenced to 27 months in jail for beating up a pub landlord and trying to pervert the course of justice by offering him $200,000 to forget the whole thing.
And he was right.

The 26-year-old described the trial judge as “an old bastard” and wrote in the same letter: “I was obviously guilty anyway and thought three to four years would be a result!
So anyway my Little Lissy, guess what the old b*****d said my maximum was? . . . are you in suspense yet?. . . 27 months! What do you think of that my delicious baby?”
Because of the time Fielder-Civil has spent on remand, he will be eligible for automatic release at Christmas.
Winehouse wasn’t in court, but “blonde German model Sophie Schandorff, 21, was in the public gallery,” says The Mirror, adding:
“Fielder-Civil’s mother, Georgette, wept as her son was jailed.
“Defence lawyer Jeremy Dein told Snaresbrook crown court in East London that drugs were a “smiling assassin” to Fielder-Civil. But now he wanted to go into rehab with Amy.
“He added: ‘It is their ambition to divorce themselves from hard drugs, not to separate from each other’.”
