p2pnet.net News:- New York’s Xandros and Oslo, Norway’s, Opera Software say the new Open Circulation Edition of the Xandros Desktop OS will be the first Linux desktop distribution with Opera as the default browser.

Starting today, the Open Circulation Desktop OS can be downloaded from the Xandros web site.

Opera’s browser technology is cross-platform and modular, and currently available on Windows, Linux, Mac OS, Symbian OS, QNX, TRON, FreeBSD, Solaris and Mediahighway.

Xandros pioneered a low-cost alternative OS providing seamless compatibility with Microsoft Windows programs and networks.
