He’s annoyed Paris Hilton’s mum.

McCain, “may have closed in on Barack Obama’s lead with powerful attack ads,” but a recent commercial, “dismisses Obama as a mere celebrity —- like Britney Spears or Paris Hilton,” says NPR News.

Sadly for McCain, “The reference did not please Paris Hilton’s mom.”

“I’ve been asked again and again for my response to the now infamous McCain celebrity ad,” she puffs on the Huffington Post, going on:

“I actually have three responses.

“It is a complete waste of the money John McCain’s contributors have donated to his campaign. It is a complete waste of the country’s time and attention at the very moment when millions of people are losing their homes and their jobs. And it is a completely frivolous way to choose the next President of the United States.”

Frivolity is, of course, entirely foreign to the Hiltons.

The ad in question wonders if Obama is, “ready to lead”.
