John McCain, a ’sprightly 168 years old’
p2pnet news view | Politics:- Yesterday Paris Hilton thanked John McCain for nominating her as president of the US of A.
“That ‘wrinkly, white-haired guy used me in his campaign ad, which I guess means I’m running for president.” she saidin a hilarious YouTube response to McCain’s recent ad attack on Obama Barak, in which he disdainfully compared him to ‘celebrity’ P. Hilton.
“So thanks for the endorsement, white-haired dude, and I want America to know that I’m totally ready to lead,” said Paris.
White-haired dude, eh?
One of John McCain’s campaign weak spots, “is his age, so cruelly mocked by Paris Hilton earlier this week,” says Paul Owen in The Guardian’s Deadline USA, going on:
“With that in mind, was it really a good idea for his website to include this timeline?”
Owen is talkng about McCain’s efforts to establish himself as a true, blue Amerkin by via a Time Shuttle.
But, “the timeline is matched to US history, and stretches back to 1840, leading the casual reader to assume McCain is a sprightly 168 years old,” says The Guardian, adding:
“As such, it includes the American civil war, the Spanish-Amercian war and the 1871 Chicago fire, as well as the birth of “Slew” McCain, the Republican candidate’s grandfather, in 1884. Even ignoring the events that took place before McCain’s birth, the timeline can’t help but draw attention to the fact that the young McCain lived through not just the second world war but also the Great Depression.”

See, now this is funny. Of course, if anybody did anything of this sort about Obama, everybody (read: the media and the numbskull sheep who follow it) would be up in arms. Can’t wait for that Obama-nation of Desolation. . .
