Sadly I am still waiting for the "improvements" they have always told us would be coming. This beta release is a let down. So far in the release they have "improved" hosting capabilities and extended host only commands to users in the channel. Granted it was needed but their system of user "levels" sucks. no other word for it. to be able to type /me or /emote or /action you need to be a user at "level 60" wth??? while I can understand the need for extending host commands to users in the channel wtf??? now I need permission to do something I could do before? Let nushi(RCMS,MxChat, MxMonitor), bughunter(kick-it, ignition), bender(metis/mxcontrol/bendmx) and others handle the channel/hosting side of winmx; what they have done in frontcodes absence has been great and far superior to anything frontcode has shown me so far. I want to see the serious improvements, improved searching capabilities, lower queues, end of file mismatches etc. Far as i am concerned what i have seen after waiting almost two years was a waste of my time. ps: above all else I want to see an end to winmx being a resource hog that leaks RAM!!!
