Miley Cyrus & Barney the Purple Dinosaur
p2pnet news view | P2P:- It’s hard to imagine a scarier or more brainless creation aimed at kids than Barney the Revolting Purple Dinosaur (shudder).
One of p2pnet’s post on Barney, a la Japan’s Mori Chack Gloomy bears, has been visited 63,715 times as we write this at 6:56 AM Pacific.
But that doesn’t even scratch the surface of the Barney hits pulled down by Disney’s Hanna Montana (aka Miley Cyrus) in a YouTube flick.
She posted a video of her and her best friend, Mandy Jiroux, “mocking fellow teen queens and Barney & Friends stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato on YouTube in March,” says Stuff, going on:
“In the video, almost a scene-by-scene imitation of the original, Cyrus and Jiroux poked fun at Gomez’ Power Rangers T-shirt and laughed at Lovato for having a gap fixed in her teeth.
“It has been viewed on YouTube almost four million times.”
Another video of Cyrus saying Sorry had been viewed 2,843,461 times when we went for a look.
Says RushPR News:
“Disney starlet Selena Gomez showed off a devilish side Tuesday, likely taking schadenfreudic delight via a teasing message on YouTube apparently meant to confuse paparazzi and media pundits intent on proving discontentment within the Disney ranks.”

The replacement Barney theme (unknown source);
“I hate you, you hate me. Let’s get together and kill Barney. With a 357 and bullet in the head, you’ll be glad when Barney’s dead.”

^ There are so many variations of that theme, he’s been made fun of since forever. Though I recall most of them ending with something ‘-no more purple dinosaur.’
Heres one I recall from the opening ‘Barney is a dinosaur from our imagination. When we shot him in the butt, he died of constipation.’ Isn’t elementary grand?

The only other variation I’ve heard is only slightly different than what I posted;
“I hate you, you hate me. Let’s hang Barney from a tree. With a 357 and bullet in the head, you’ll be glad when Barney’s dead.”
I know, that one doesn’t make quite as much sense…
