You can download an edonkey mod, Dazzle mod, for example, that completely disables file sharing and does not allow oter people to download from you.

All these lawyers need to take (and pass) a test on today’s technology and terminology before they’re allowed to argue, or even comment on any legal matters related to technology.

No, they don’t *DOWNLOAD* anything to the desktop of the computer, they PLACE an icon there.

Of course, knowing today’s computer users, most of them will simply delete the icon and think “Mission accomplished!”.

If a person is gullible enough to buy into this load of road apples IMHO it would be best to UNINSTALL the application(s) in question, not DELETE them. This guy is falling down before he even stands up… Then again, the amazing depths of ignorance of computers and the WWW demonstrated by the people and companies trying to stop P2P could be looked at as an advantage for the public, at least in some cases.
