Troubles plague Tom Cruise flick Valkyrie

A spokesman for the Cult of Scientology, one of the most repressive organisations the world has ever seen, Cruise is ironically playing Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, the man who, as the leader of the 1944 plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler, ultimately gave his life for freedom.
The movie has, “suffered setbacks including injured extras and repeated changes of release date,” says digital spy.
“A trailer showing Cruise playing the role of a German officer with an American accent has also received a mixed reception.”
Now, “Tom Cruise’s ill-fated World War II epic ‘Valkyrie’ has been hit by a $11m (£6m) law suit filed by a group of film extras who suffered broken bones, cuts and bruises after they were thrown out of a lorry during shooting in Berlin last year,” says The Independent.
“The claim is the latest in a string of calamities which have dogged the production starring the controversial Church of Scientology member since filming began more than a year ago.”
Cruise, COS’ principal spokesman, “seriously embarrassed himself and the organisation when a promo video of Himself raving about the virtues of Scientology turned up online,” p2pnet posted in April, noting Cruise was to play the WWII hero, going on:
“Von Stauffenberg must be turning over in his grave.”
His son, Berthold, told the Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper he objected to Cruise taking the role because of his involvement with Scientology and, “He should keep his hands off my father.”
Germany`s interior ministers instructed the country`s domestic intelligence agency to prepare a dossier on Scientology’s activities with a view to banning it in 2009 on the grounds it’s unconstitutional.
The organisation, “recently set up a European headquarters in Berlin but it is officially regarded in Germany as a money-making cult and kept under surveillance by the intelligence services,” says The Independent, adding:
“Valkyrie’s release date has already been postponed a number of times. Key scenes had to be re-shot because sections of film were inadvertently destroyed during the developing process. The verdict of audiences who have been allowed to screen test the film is that the production is boring. United Artists is currently re-working the material. The earliest release date is now February next year.”

You hit the nail on the head with your second sentence, about the galling “irony” of Cruise playing this particular role. Although in many ways Scientology pales in magnitude to the evil of Nazis at their peak especially, Scientology resembles the early Nazi Party and shares several key traits. They are both totalitarian, with a goal of world domination, and both practice suppression of, or attacking critics.
The leader of Scientology, David Miscavige, shows similar leadership traits to Hitler, in that he is ruthless, petty, under educated and will do anything to maintain his power in the totalitarian organization that is Scientology. Cruise, vapid actor puppet that he is, can do little more than ape his little mentor David Miscavige. The difference is, Miscavige knows that Scientology is a huge con, whereas Cruise, stunned by super stardom and immense wealth, like many top stars, is living in an alternative universe.
Both Scientology and the Nazis put out immense false fronts and propaganda. For example, Scientology’s “study tech” seriously does not produce good academic results. Instead, it indoctrinates children into Scientology’s wacky world, of thing like “misunderstoods.” That is, when you misunderstand something in a Scientology, it can’t be Scientology itself that is a theory or at fault, it is only your misunderstanding of it that can be false. Scientology itself is malarkey, but regards itself as the pure truth. Scientology pseudo-science has NEVER been confirmed by outside testing. Instead Hubbard himself furnished all the proof and testing that is needed. And if you read about Hubbard’s life, you will find that it is an endless string of hoaxes, all very well documented by records, journalists, friends and family.
That Scientologists can’t read this public information, in this decade, is outrageous, and shows how duped and controlled they are.

That is the best news that I’ve heard all week. Kinda surprised it wasn’t headlined. Hopefully, Canada and the United States will look at Germany’s dossier, and decide to ban Scientology as well.

Correction, Terryeo, the allegations are based on LEAKED documents and video clips – leaked by the victims of the cult you defend. The fact that they were obtained by methods you don’t approve of does not make the $cientology organization any less guilty.

Just another angry Scientology rant disguised as a news story. You can’t start a quasi-news story out by saying “the Cult of Scientology, one of the most repressive organisations the world has ever seen” and expect to be taken seriously. Even if it happens to be true.
The same small handful of anti-Scientology crusaders are spamming every fake-news site that lets anyone post anything, in an attempt to flood Google News with their opinions. Don’t you people have better things to do?
I don’t really care if Scientology is an evil scam or not. I’m so sick of hearing about it, the anonymous kids’ rants are having a backlash effect on me and many others, to the point now where I might start rooting for the Scientologists just because their enemies are so childish and annoying with their neverending bleating of how evil the cult is. Anyone who wants to know that knows it already. Get a life.

For crying out loud would someone get busy and write a story worth telling about the kids who are the front men for this continued religious bashing? There’s a much bigger and very sinister story to be told. There IS an anti-religion strategy in this onslaught. Would you like to know WHO is funding this attack? Do you really think these paid protesters really CARE? The only other religious group attacked like this that gets media (and not enough!!!! media) is the attacks against religious groups in COMMUNIST CHINA!!!
