On-stage attack forces Oasis to cancel show
p2pnet news view | Music:- UK band Oasis had to cancel its scheduled concert in London, Ontario, last night, because Noel Gallagher is still recovering after being attacked at an earlier show in Toronto.
Rib and hip injuries to Gallagher, “kept Oasis from rocking the John Labatt Centre last night,” so friends will now have to wait for another performance slated for December 15, says the London Free Press, going on:
“U.S. rockers Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, who were to be part of last night’s show, will also be at the 7 p.m. rescheduled show.”
Forty-seven-year-old Daniel Sullivan from Pickering, Ontario, was charged with assault after going for Gallagher on stage during a performance on Toronto Island.
“Within seconds security jumped to restrain the flailing meathead before leading him offstage and away from the victim`s enraged brother, Liam, who tried to get in on the action with at least one stunted fist swing of his own,” said Sun Media.
