Alicia Keys boosts iTunes UK launch
p2pnet.net News:- Alicia Keys was on hand, yesterday, as iTunes was officially introduced to Britons in the first phase of its European launch.
“iTunes, owned by computer firm Apple, will join a crowded field of competitors trying to popularise legal music downloads,” says itv.com here.
Crowded field? Yes. Well …. And, “legal music download”?
Anyhow, Key’s presence was interesting.
Along with HP ceo Carly Fiorina, Keys was one of the featured performers at the HP-Music Biz love-in, this January.
“This is what I tell kids,” said Keys.
“You can download, but if you like what you hear, go out and buy it, go out and support the artist.”
