OneWebDay — less than a week away
p2pnet news view Freedom | P2P:- OneWebDay is now less than one week away and the organisers are asking supporters for help.
On the third annual Earth Day for the Internet, in Washington, advocates, experts and government representatives will honor OneWebDay, September 22, 2008, with a tribute to the Internet’s role in politics and the politics of the Internet.
They launched an e-Democracy time capsule on August 22, inviting anyone to contribute text, images, sound, and video concerning Web-powered politics and a future in which online political participation can flourish.
At the September 22 ceremony, the time capsule will be closed and archived but before that happens, there’s still time to you to contribute.
- What are your favourite online tools or citizen journalist site? What encourages you to act online? How do you rate the Net’s significance?
- Whos behind’ the best political technology, content, and critical policy fights today?
- What are the issues we face in delivering the best possible future for e-Democracy?
- How do you see the e-Democracy Web growing (or failing) in the future?

When: September 22, 10:30am-12pm
