p2pnet.net News:- New Zealand’s Michael Hamilton thought it might be neat if his firewall let him know when something was happening.

So he wrote a script that triggers ‘plinks’ every time a packet gets denied.

Michael posted the details on the Linux Gazette here.

And directly under his plinker is Bowie J. Poag’s blinker.

Called Pogo, it allows you to tie system events to individual icons, “and train them so that hey flash, or change color, or whatever, depending on whats going on”.
