9 killed in new Finland school murder tragedy

Now the tragedy has been repeated.
Nine people were killed after another student opened fire in a college in western Finland, today.
“Finnish authorities confirmed police questioned the man a day before the massacre,” says Deutsche Welle, going on:
“The shooting in the town of Kauhajoki, some 300 kilometers (190 miles) northwest of the capital Helsinki, caused panic as the hooded gunman entered the school and began firing in a classroom where students were taking exams.”
At 11am (800 GMT), “the 20-year-old man stormed the vocational school in the town of Kauhajoki, 120 miles from Helsinki, in northwest Finland, firing “many shots”, police said,” according to The Telegraph, continuing:
“The gunman was later disarmed after he turned his gun on himself. ‘He shot himself, but he’s not dead. He’s injured,’ Ari Paananen, a spokesman for the mayor, told AFP, amid conflicting reports suggesting that the shooter had killed himself.”
Finnish interior minister Anne Holmlund says Finnish police spoke to the gunman the day before he carried out the attack, “because of a video he had posted on YouTube,” says Deutsche Welle, adding:
“The video showed the gunman wielding a handgun at a shooting range.
” ‘Police reached him on Monday, Sept. 22, and asked him to be interviewed regarding the shooting video,’ Holmlund said.”

Actually, according to latest notices (following the Finnish news), 11 people have died so far…
The shooter himself died later in the hospital, from wounds inflicted after shooting himself in the head after the deed.

This is the only news story running today. Not much else to read about. Everything will spin around this for a while here. This and tighter gun laws and web censorship. Our prime minister said today that the network surveilance must be increased. I understand that people are disturbed by these happenings but network censoship isn’t going to work… ever.

And the worst part about this….Fred Phelps and the nutjobs at the Westboro Baptist Church is gonna use this tragedy to slam Finland.

Maybe if the press would not constantly saturate everyone’s minds with these attention-getting crimes, there might not be so many copycats. Though there would still be Hollywood glorifying such behavior.

They have just found out that this incident was planned in co-opertaion with last years school shooter. The two who carried out the shootings had planned these together.
