The Pirate Bay wins in Italy

p2pnet news view Freedom | P2P:- Last month, Italian officials shut down entertainment cartel nemesis The Pirate Bay.

But the site is now back online,

Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi is a politician, entrepreneur, real estate and insurance tycoon and, “also the most powerful person in Italian media owning a lot of companies that compete with The Pirate Bay and he would like to stay that way,” said a Reader’s Write,  “so one of his lackeys, Giancarlo Mancusi, ordered a shutdown of our domain name and IP in Italy to make it hard to not support Berlusconis empire.”

Now, “The Pirate Bay won the case in Italy, reports TPB’s Brokep.

“The lawyers have done a fantastic job!

“Will report on this later!

“Update: Even though I don’t think the site is accessible in Italy via many ISPs yet, the site had a new record in visitors coming from Italy today.

“By 12%!”

Definitely stay tuned.
