Scientology is just shuttting the street down to prevent protesters from using it. They are violating the protester’s rights. They can have their graduations for their brainwashed members on their own property, they don’t need to use public property. And who does weekly graduations anyway. It’s all a scheme to shelter their members from the truth.

Note to non-scientologists. Scientology requires that its members run a customized version of netnanny (or equivalent) filtering software. Apparently the members are not informed about the functionality of this filtering software, they are just told that it will ‘improve’ their internet connection. Tory Christman describes this at xenu.net and other places. Most scienos are thus prevented from reading the info that is available at xenu.net (which is also clambake.org) and other scientology truth sites. Hence telling them to read xenu.net is not helpful since they probably can’t, even if they wanted to. scilons tend to avoid enturbulating facts in any case. LRH wrote that anyone criticizing the CoS was a thetan with heinous criminal acts on their time-line (perhaps in a past life) and was thus afraid of the CoS since it has the power to reveal their criminality. This is what leads to the asinine “What is your crime?” nonsense from the brainwashed scilons. This notion automatically relegates all CoS critics to a status of untrustworthy liar. Scilons just aren’t allowed to recognize the truth even when it hits them over the head. Anything in disagreement with source is simply ignored. And yet their internet connections are filtered.

There are a few OSA operatives who are allowed unfettered access to the internet in order to engage in misinformation and disinformation campaigns as we see here on p2pnet. Some of these operatives are relatively good at psy-ops, although their techniques appear to be stuck in the ’50s and ’60s (which is when LRH wrote up the processes). Tory Christman used to be one of those operatives, her story is fascinating reading and is available at xenu.net. Note that her experiences at alt.religion.scientology is what ultimately led to her leaving the CoS. She describes it as waking up one day and realizing that she was in a kind of ‘Truman Show’. The ‘false facts’ of the CoS just didn’t match reality. Keeping the real facts about the CoS on the internet is important. I am very unhappy that the CoS has succeeded in shutting down Enturbulation.org.

Rondroids are pretty predictable. They seldom deviate from their programming. Incapability of independent, critical thought is not what I would have thought would be a criterion for a ‘master race’. Unless your definition of ‘master race’ is a collection of mindless drones that believe and do exactly as they are told. This is awful! These people are being held as prisoners in their own homes and being tortured with loud noises just for having the misfortune of this cult being their neighbors! Mister Rogers would have never stood for this nonsense!

It sounds like the permits are being abused. Not only in their frequency of being issued, but also in closing public access when the permit says the event is open to the general public.

The City Council needs to put a stop to this and allow the residents of this area to have a bit of peace for change. I’d like to see them not allow a permit for 3 months, and then 1 permit for 1 weekend per month maximum which makes stipulations that the residents in the area have complete right of way to access their properties on foot or with their vehicles. Nobody’s driveway access should ever be blocked!

I’m glad these 2 women were brave enough to stand up for their rights and the rights of all of the private citizens living in that area.

The permits were NOT appropriate, obviously many residents were unhappy with what was going on there, and were kept out of the loop. Sorry NO ONE including Scientology has the right to close down the public street like that. Why are people so afraid to speak up, why are they scared? “Unanimous agreement”, yea right. If you believe that I have a bridge to total freedom I would like to sell you. Is the reason because of the scam of Scientology will “fair game” them if they try to fight? I think so. Most Chirches would allow the public to attend their proud moments; with the CoS, those moments are not what most would consider proud.

By mutual and unanimous agreement of all the street’s property owners, on-street parking was prohibited. The owner of the greatest portion of the street’s length cleans the street every morning. It is one of the nicest streets in the Los Angeles area. Scientology has been throwing what you might call parties on the street for years (with permits), complete with music and refreshments as a weekly graduation celebration.
