Canada: ‘Build the best country for free people’
p2pnet news view | P2P | Politics:- On October 14 Canadians go to the polls in a snap election to decide whether or not George W. Harper manages to maintain his position as CEO of the country’s minority Conservative corporation.
However, “an important 2003 parliamentary speech Harper delivered in 2003 on the Iraq invasion was in parts a word-for-word copy of a speech delivered only days earlier by former Australian prime minister John Howard,” said p2pnet yesterday.
“Now that’s really getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar,” posted free man in a Reader’s Write to the story, going on »»»

We are Canadians, WE CAN DO THIS!
Quite a few excellent points, there. And while you’re thinking about them, also think about this:
The Net can make not merely a difference, it can make the difference.
If you’ve never voted before, make this the first time. And if you’re already a voter, vote again.
We don’t need any more of Harper. Period. But if he somehow manages to survive, make sure he barely squeaks in because we certainly don’t need him heading up a majority government.
So be sure you don’t put your X in Steve’s box.

Wow, I wish we were doing the same things in America. In America, people only seem to care about gay sex and taxes. Anti-trust and corruption issues (America’s biggest problems) aren’t even being discussed publicly.

Dream on. But it is our own fault. We elect these scumbags so it is only reasonable that we have to pay their price.

Nice wishlist!
Of course, you have to ask yourself WHY we find ourselves having so many such wishes.
Isn’t it merely an expression of things we have lost due to government being allowed to operate without accountability and without public consultation.
The government has been acting on its own agenda for quite some time now.
NAFTA passed with hardly a peep from anyone, as it was not put before the people at any point in the process. Then, they start discussing the SPP, and documents (of approval) have already be signed by both Martin and Harper during a number of secret meetings with Bush and Fox. Parts of the NAU plan would seem to be already in motion, yet our elected officials continue to deny it, some even pretending they’ve never of it.
The whole idea of forming a North American Union is to replace elected governments of each country with a consolidated CORPORATE GOVERNMENT over the continent, and run by an administration constructed from APPOINTED officials, as done in the business world - with no election or involvement by the people.
Aren’t we already being treated now as if we don’t exist??!
How many people say it, but try to “talk sense” to themselves afterward?
That’s because it’s a hard realization that what we’ve been “trained” to think over the years - that our government would never sell us out like that - is entirely false.
It’s time for every Canadian to WAKE UP!!
There’s a reason why our government has been pushing us all aside in favour of corporate interests. There’s a reason why our Constitution (as well as the US Constitution) is being ignored. There’s a reason the people are being stripped of their rightful powers. There’s an agenda at work here, being furthered by both the Liberals and the Conservatives… and WE’RE NOT PART OF IT!
As long as people keep voting for either hand of the LibCon Party, and not questioning our government’s actions (a right we still have at the moment), this sellout will continue, and we will not only be SOL for a fair and free digital world… we’ll be SOL down the line for many other things we hold dear that we take for granted now.

Sorry for double-posting, usually try my best to prevent it
– “Free collage and university schooling” is a typo
– I would recommend the drug system that my home city “Terre Haute, Indiana” uses, or something better, which is that people caught using illegal drugs have to report to a drug court and perform random drug tests for 1 year, instead of going to jail. Failure to appear in court, and failure to pass the drug tests result in jail time.
– I think “Legalize marijuana and other medicinal drugs” should be added, if they aren’t already law in Canada.
– Possibly the divorce court idea that my uncle does. When a couple get divorced, the couple, children, and any friends “hurt” by the divorce can choose to be set up with a government-financed dating service. The government-financed dating service is meant to help “working mothers”, “widows”, and others that have too much on their hands, due to the divorce, to socialize and find a suitable step-father to have a payed-for dating service do the work for them. I keep telling my uncle to hook me up, but unfortunately he is a judge that can’t be bribed.

We have 4 kinds laws in this country [in order]:
Gods laws
Laws of the rights of people - constitution, bill of rights … etc.
Common laws - as decided by the people for the people
corporate laws / british english maritime laws
i don’t see anywhere that corporate laws are above ours. Therefore corporations MUST listen to people first and abide by our wishes. See http://www.thinkfree.ca/ and learn your actual rights.
As far as i understand it: if you are done wrong by anyone you want to give them “Notice of Understanding and Intent” and Remedy per situation, take it to Notary Public and serve the person before u go into any court. It doesn’t matter who this person is; lawyer, cop, judge, corporation, ceo, prime minister, and they must answer within 3 working days or they are dishonored before the courts and or they are guilty of the charge, in front of any court in the land.
So what’s to stop “us” the people from charging any government official for anything they have done wrong? Absolutely nothing!
Imagine 28 million plus people serving Notice to PM? Even 5 thousand people and he’d go nutz and run for cover.
Even though politicians say they’re exempt, send it in anyway. It’s another lie they have dreamed up.
You’re not getting your fare share of rights? Send ‘em a Notice

“So be sure you don’t put your X in Steve’s box.”
If your riding is dominated by the Conservatives:
If you vowed you would never vote for a Conservative or a Liberal again, but your riding polls indicate it might take a Liberal vote to oust the Conservative candidate, try Vote Swapping.
Please get a facebook account and go to “Anti-Harper Vote Swap Canada Group”. They have made it easy.
If you plan to vote strategically anyway, it can’t hurt.

Thanx for compliments
Yes, I know it’s a typo Arse, I did it on purpose to see how many would notice or if they read this list
This is not a wish list, these are DEMANDS!
Voting is only one part, and i’d vote for whoever screwed you / us over the least.
Even then no matter who gets in we must DEMAND this list in full. But you must vote or the corporations will get their way.
This work is a work in progress to keep the large corporations and their back room secret agendas in their place, out of our politics, as well as keep government honest whether they like it or not. Protecting our country from anyone trying to abuse it.
Feel free to add any reasonable DEMANDS … taking into consideration all people and the rest of this country
If you can, pass it on.
BTW: [i better explain this] hemp is in here because it’s the best for natural replacement of oil [besides algae], strong fibers, fuel and many other things. Something oil companies have been fighting against since day one.
