It's more canadian politics than i've ever seen, so good or bad job, at least you are doing it. Though every time I see the list of promises and claims of things they will do I can't help but remember the courts decided they don't need to keep their promises:

(In case you've not heard of the court ruling sumarized in this link)

I am too young to vote, but I can guaranty the moment I turn 18, I will be voting. For me, the coverage that your doing is still very intriguing, interesting and informative. Who knows, maybe I can swing my parents' vote ;)

I too am an Islander, and I've found p2pnet to be a very refreshing and informative site, and the coverage on election issues is very important to me as I am voting for the first time this year (after turning 18 2 days ago, even). Thank you very much for what you do for us, Jon.

I didnt give much thought into the last election, but now issues that didn't really bother me before like p2p and net neutality are on the table and I refuse to aid in electing someone who doesn't understand the internet the 'other reality' most of us have become accustomed to (at least in Canada). So yes this is one of a many issues including but not limited to: Marc Emerys extradition, as well as canadian citizens being tortured at guantanamo (Omar Khadr), SPP, Poverty. All these issues and more need to be in the spotlight for the greater good of everyone. Keep writing.

I admit, watching Palin fail in the U.S. is more entertaining than any election prior.

their government is scared shittless of the people and wouldn't dare doing what harper and his loony toon followers and butt kissers (jim pretence) do.
