Blubster is now the lone survivor of the original commercial P2P applications
I,m a proud member of the WinMX using community and whilst officially we are non existent, in reality we are still going strong and will be doing so for as long as possible, each day passing reminds the copyright fanatics that we will not be bullied or forced to bend to their will, I hope you recognise that while we have shrunk to a userbase of between a quarter to half a million users after the 2005 official forced closure we are still here, your comment above may not have been intended to reflect this, so I thought a friendly reminder would be accepted by you.

I too operate a website on shirt buttons and zero advertising revenue to avoid incuring any legal liability for myself, I am lucky to be able to do so and I congratulate you on doing a grand job in keeping this site alive with the meagre revenue being produced here.
Theres not much more to say here besides keep up the good fight Jon, your site is often the only single source of critical news review, many others just choose to paste the corporate flavoured news I have come to despise.

^^ As I say here http://www.p2pnet.net/donate/p2pnet%20net.html:

“p2pnet isn’t entrepreneurial: it isn’t a business venture. Corny as it may seen, p2pnet is a commitment.”

Pablo has been one of the people who’s been helping p2pnet financially almost since the beginning. I’m not being paid for the ad on the left: those funds dried up as soon as the lawsuit was launched. Exactly the same thing happened with Morpheus, Bear Share and LimeWire, all of whom advertised on p2pnet at the beginning.

So the Blubster ad is my way of saying Thanks. Nothing more.

Today, were it not for an anonymous sponsor, TekSavvy here in Canada and MP3Rocket in the states, p2pnet wouldn’t be around.

p2pnet is our sole means of income. I have a wife, a daughter, two cats and a dog, and a mortgage to support. Neither my wife nor I drink or smokes (anything ;) ), we don’t go to movies, we buy at thrift stores, etc and so on.

We’re not exactly living off the fat of the land. :)

But having said that, I’m content and I hope p2pnet makes a tiny bit of difference.

Cheers!
