Yeah, I agree.

The levy was a bad idea from the start. Extending it to all digital media would be a nightmarish legislative fiasco.

Do you pay the levy on the memory in your microwave oven? How about the ECU in your automobile? With the proliferation of microprocessors in almost everything that runs on electricity, there is digital storage in all of them.

The Greens are correct on this. Levies are the wrong solution. Let’s solve the real problem which is getting the real content creators remunerated for their creations. Sound Exchange is doing such a fine job of getting the artists paid.

A) artists arent getting paid
B) it goes to foreigners who would through ordinary canucks into prisons for what? OH yah entertainment.

C) i htink we should not only get rid of the levy BUT charge hollywood money to watch the garbage they put out.
