I agree in general with the tone of the above postings but as a female (and not necessarily a feminist) the thing that struck me was that none of the cases reported on nude pictures of males circulated by their girlfriends. Is it that females have a greater respect for what is presumably intended as a private communication between two individuals?

And what did the girls do when their partners sent their nude pics out into the blue yonder?

They claim that they need to crack down on child porn to protect the "children", and here they are, ready to ruin the lives of a bunch of kids who took pictures of THEMSELVES!

This country really is getting to the point where it's too screwed up to function...

In most of Europe it would be no big deal and the results of that lack of concern may be surprising. When people don't get uptight over the human body and nudity they are much more likely to talk about it with young people. The results are predictable. In Denmark or the Netherlands young people don't on average become sexually active until about a year older than in the USA and when they do they are much more likely to use a condom and contraception and less likely to be promiscuous. The results are predictable. About one tenth the number of pregnancies, one tenth the number of abortions and over seventy times fewer cases of gonorrhea. Countries such as the UK which are in between in attitudes have outcomes that are also in between. Prudery is a form a child abuse and these laws encourage that child abuse. Are the police and prosecutors prepared to stand in front of 10 pregnant teenagers and explain to them why it is that if they were in Denmark or The Netherlands nine of them would not be pregnant? Or 10 in the waiting room of an abortion clinic? Or 70 at a STD clinic?

This would be really funny, if it wasn't sad.

Had no idea minors could be convicted for having nude photo's of people their own age. I'm sure we all still remember the Vanessa Hudgens (However her names spelled.) incident.

This sounds like a messed up movie satire. It Made much more sense once I saw Texas mentioned.

"Licking Valley High School"? That is hysterical! It sounds like it came right out of a low brow high school comedy farce movie... Combined with the story it is the kind of stuff a person couldn't even make up. Priceless.
