One of "Lord Cyrics" associates, who went by the moniker "El Mariachi", who was also an informant for the FBI, outed Lord Cyric as Washington Times Reporter Brian Krebs.

Personally I fail to see how a reporter can commit blatant acts of fraud all in the name of gathering material for a security related blog, which is what Brian Krebs writes for the Times. Even if Krebs was also assisting the federal police, the level of rampant crime taking place at Dark Market caused serious and irreparable harm to US citizens impacted by the amount of identity theft and fraud taking place there.

Krebs should either by fired for his role in Dark Market, and the feds who ran it (Special Agent Mularski) should have their heads examined for creating one of the biggest online marketplaces for stolen identities and credit card information - even if it was to "assist" in their cases targeting this sort of fraud.

Wow, this explains why Identity Theft has become such a major problem the past few years. The FBI is selling people's identity and then telling people "well, you shoulda shredded your trash".

The police get tons of money every year from the government, but Bush cut their funding resulting in the police resorting to mafia-based bribery, speeding tickets, property seizure, and identity syndicate cooperation.
