Lawsuit against God thrown out
p2pnet news view | Off Topic:- Nebraska state senator Ernie Chambers reckons he’s had it with God, said p2pnet a little more than a year ago, going on:
“So he’s filed a lawsuit against The Almighty for causing ‘calamitous catastrophes resulting in the wide-spread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of the Earth’s inhabitants’.”
But Douglas County district court judge Marlon Polk has thrown out Chambers’ case saying the Almighty, “wasn’t properly served due to his unlisted home address,” says the Associated Press.
Chambers said he filed the suit to make the point everyone should have access to the courts regardless of whether they are rich or poor, states the story.
He’s not really mad at God, “He’s mad at people who launch all those frivolous lawsuits,”said p2pnet.
But Chambers, “who graduated from law school but never took the bar exam, thinks he’s found a hole in the judge’s ruling,” says AP, adding:
” ‘The court itself acknowledges the existence of God,’ Chambers said Wednesday. ‘A consequence of that acknowledgment is a recognition of God’s omniscience.’
“Therefore, Chambers said, ‘Since God knows everything, God has notice of this lawsuit.’
“Chambers has 30 days to decide whether to appeal. He said he hasn’t decided yet.”

“Therefore, Chambers said, ‘Since God knows everything, God has notice of this lawsuit.’”
Sure, but God not only knows everything, he can also do anything. He got the lawsuit thrown out.

I would be surprise if the majors does not sue god soon for copyright infringement since they claim that they own the universe.
