Four Tops lead Levi Stubbs died today
p2pnet news view | Music:- Four Tops lead singer Levi Stubbs, Jr, died today at his home in Detroit.
Illness had forced him to stop performing in 2000, says Billboard.
His death leaves Abdul “Duke” Fakir as the Tops’ only living member from the original four, who started out in 1954 as the Four Aims and signed with Motown nine years later, says the story.
Laurence Payton died in 1997, and Renaldo “Obie” Benson in 2005, it adds.
He was 72.

The Four Tops were always one of my favorite pre-rap R&B groups I alwys loved his voice work as the plant in Little Shop Of Horrors,”Feed Me Seymore!” RIP Levi we will miss you.
