Sprint says No Thanks to Google Android
p2pnet news view Mobiles | Advertising:- Sprint may be part of an “alliance” of about 30 companies who’ve said they’ll support he development of Google’s Android mobile phone operating system.
But that doesn’t mean it’s ready to put its name on the product, says Reuters.
T-Mobile USA started selling it last week and the mainstream media were, “all-a-Google over the latest mobile phone,” said p2pnet, going on to quote
Gizmodo’s Matt Buchanan as saying problems were quickly piling up, including some that, “might very well be dealbreakers”.

And According to Reuters, Sprint CEO Dan Hesse doesn’t think Android in its current form is, “good enough to put the Sprint brand on it”.
One of the people given an Android to try out and is talking to another demo partner in a YouTube video spoof.
‘”I like it but the only thing I’m not crazy about is the uh –”
His call is interrupted by an advertising message: “Don’t forget. For tonight only, wings are ………”
And that just about sums it up.
