Canadian film-maker charged in gruesome killing
p2pnet news view Crime | Movies:- “This film was about luring a fellow from the internet, duct-taping him to a chair, killing him and cutting him,”says Mark Anstey.
“It was actually filmed and there are actors; we interviewed the actors. We’ve interviewed everybody and that film actually did take place.”
Now police are looking for another man who may have escaped the same fate.
Anstey is a detective with the Edmonton, Alberta, Police Service. Quoted by the CBC, he’s investigating the apparent gruesome killing of John Brian Altinger, 38, last seen alive on October 10.
Local film-maker Mark Twitchell (right) has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with Altinger’s disappearance, says the story.
“Police accuse the independent film producer of acting out his own film-script storyline, in which a psychotic killer masquerades as a woman on a dating website, lures a male victim to a darkened garage and then beheads him in cold blood,” says CTV.
“The movie was about luring a male from a dating internet site and basically killing the male in the garage and chopping up his body parts and getting rid of the body,” it has Anstey saying.
Anstey said the movie script, “includes scenes where the killer duct tapes his victim to a chair to get his banking information and email passwords before putting him to death”.
Police are want to talk to another man who may have been lured by an ad but is believed to have escaped, Anstey said, according to the CBC, which adds:
” ‘I believe this male entered the garage and was attacked by another male who was wearing a hockey mask,’ Anstey said.
“The male was able to break free and run into the lane, being chased by the male in the mask. At this time a couple was walking by and saw the altercation.
“The male wearing the hockey mask backed away and the other male may have escaped.”
Twitchell is credited by IMDB as actor, producer and director of Star Wars: Secrets of the Rebellion.

I hope the police have also considered the possibility that this is a PR stunt.
