US Capt Scotty Duke, 419 scammer, returns
p2pnet news view | Crime:- Last year p2pnet had an email from Scott Duke.
“Don’t be surprise by contacting you,” it said. “… it’s due to my duty here in Iraqi. Since you are the only person my mind accepted to con-file in the secret, I couldn’t go back because my troops were camping at the road to the Jordanian border that makes it difficult for me to check out of the country.”
But of course.
“I have every proof of this transaction only I need your assistance in retrieving this money from one of the UN diplomat in London,” it went on. “The reason why I’m explaining my finding to you is to seek for your assistance to enable you contribute immensely to the actualization of my dream. I am Captain Scott Duke, a US MARINE OFFICER. On the 6th day of March 2007, I and my troops were alerted on the need of some reconstruction works in Haifa Street.”
Um, what money?
“A long thoroughfare of high-rise buildings built and occupied by Saddam Hussein when he was alive here in Baghdad Immediately we proceeded to the site and as we commence work to our utmost surprise, we discovered an underground bunker in one of the buildings.Upon investigation of the bunker to our surprise, we discovered one box safely hidden and sealed, I told my men to open the boxes in order to find out the contents of the trunk box, and when they opened to our amazement the box contained some US Dollars which amounted to $9.8Million United States Dollars, after I and two of my troops counted this money I however instructed them to keep this in high secrecy so that we can have the money to our selves, they all greed to the plan and but first we had to hide the money in a safe and untraceable location.”
Oh. That money.
Captain Duke said he was in, “desperate need of a ‘Reliable and trustworthy’ person like you who would receive, secure and protect these box containing the US Dollars for me up until my assignment elapses here.”
Unfortunately, at the time, I wasn’t in a position to help the good captain. Sigh.
BUT —- All is not lost! I have another chance!
Said Scott, this time in a Reader’s Write (which I’ve deleted, together with an unrelated effort by JIA HAO Wood Art Prodct Co to get a freebie ad for its cheezy wooden serving trays) rather than an email »»»

My wife, Liz, is the Chancellor of the Exchequer in our family. She’s still asleep as I write this, but I’ll rush upstairs and wake her up!!
Seriously, I’ve had plenty of 419 scams come my way, and lately, several have arrived in the form of comment posts.
But this is the first time I’ve had a 419 scammer send an initial email and then follow it up with a comment post.
Stay tuned?

Have you considered launching an all out DDOS attack on that oh so evil posting IP: 127.0.0.1
I’d bet you’d get great ping times to it and should find it frighteningly close to your local network…

Dude, you’re being too hard on him. Think of all the “sufferness” he’s had to endure.

Hmm , maybe there’s a mistake and he meant 9.8 Billion unaccounted for, out of 12 Billion, after money transfer from Pentagon to Iraq
You can easily notice them if you see them since they are packaged into bricks of 500,000 USD each and sitting on skids.
Oh, can you pass about a million this way? Since I’m running a little short, down to hunting local cats and dogs for food, snaring squirrels for my nuts and picking pockets of cops.
