Amy Winehouse drug dealers plead guilty
p2pnet news view | Music:- Two UK drug dealers identified as the people behind Amy Winehouse’s unwanted video appearance at the beginning of the year now face jail time.
“In what can only be called a massive invasion of privacy, Britain’s The Sun is running a video with Amy Whitehouse, ‘blitzed out of her skull and struggling to talk after sucking in crack fumes from a glass pipe’,” p2pnet posted, going on »»»
The tabloid doesn’t say where it acquired the video, “filmed at her East London home,” or who made it, but it goes well beyond the bounds in a lurid and shabby report.
What Winehouse gets up to in public is one thing, but what she does in private is another.
In June, “Scotland Yard said John Blagrove, 34, and his 22-year-old girlfriend Cara Burton, both of Queensbridge Road, east London, had been charged with conspiring to supply cocaine and a form of ecstasy,” said The Telegraph.
“The charges follow a police investigation in which officers seized a computer memory stick from the couple reportedly containing footage showing Miss Winehouse smoking a substance and Bob Geldof’s 19-year-old daughter Peaches handing cash to a man.
“Video images showing Miss Winehouse smoking a substance with a makeshift glass pipe were publicised by The Sun in January.”
Now, “Blagrove pled guilty to two counts of offering to supply Class A drugs and one count of offering to supply Class B, while Burton pled guilty to two counts of offering to supply Class B,” says The Herald.
The case was adjourned until November 28.
