Hope revives for missing XBox boy
p2pnet news view | Games:- Hope that a Canadian teenager who vanished from his home after an argument with his parents over his use of a Microsoft XBox game has been revived.
Brandon Crips, 15, has been missing since Thanksgiving and chances that he’d be found safe were fading.
But a witness has now reported a second sighting, says the Canwest News Service.
“As a result of that canvass a witness came forward with information that she had observed Brandon further down the trail than we originally thought he’d gotten to,” the story has sergeant Dave Goodbrand saying. “So he was continuing further up the trail towards Orillia.”
Meanwhile, Ontario Provincial Police investigators are continuing to analyze Brandon CRISP’s XBOX console, but say to date, “there has been no evidence obtained to support that the XBOX was involved in his disappearance”.
They’re continuing to appeal for any information on possible sightings in the east end of Barrie on October 13 between 3:00 and 5:15 pm, adding:
“As a result of the new witness information of Brandon being east of the 3rd Line of Oro (on the ORO Rail Trail), investigators also request that any persons using the Oro Rail Trail on October 13, 2008 between 5:15pm and 5:45pm, that may have observed Brandon Crisp (as described above) between the 3rd and 4th Line of Oro, to contact: (705) 725-7025 #2160 or crisptips@police.barrie.on.ca.”
The OPP describe Brandon as:
5′3″ tall
100lbs
small build
He was last known to be wearing:
blue jeans
blue t-shirt
a yellow and grey jacket
white running shoes with a camouflage stripe.
He also had a yellow and grey back pack
