New Sci-fi show Defying Gravity for Vancouver
p2pnet news view | TV:- Ron Livingston is to star in “Defying Gravity,” a new 13-episode Sci-Fi series being shot in Hollywood North, ie, Vancouver, BC.
It follows eight astronauts in the near future, “as they take a mysterious six-year mission through the solar system,” says AndPop, going on:
“Vancouver’s Omni Film Productions is partnering with CTV and Fox Television Studios for the series, which will air in Canada on CTV and Space.”
Directing the first episode is Canada’s David Straiton of ‘House’ fame.
It’s a joint production by CTV, Omni and Fox Television Studios produced by creator and writer/producer James Parriott (Grey’s Anatomy, Ugly Betty) and Michael Edelstein (Desperate Housewives), says the Vancouver Sun.
” It will be shown in Canada on CTV and the Space channel, on BBC in the U.K. and on ProSieben in Germany.”
A one-hour pilot for for a police drama called Shattered will also be shot in Vancouver, says the story.
