Best Buy gives Napster a lift
p2pnet.net News:- Roxio’s attempts to become the player in the filmy corporate online music business seem to be built more on getting other companies to market it than on the quality of the ’service’ itself.
The latest step in this direction comes from a decision by electronics retailer Best Buy to promote Napster II as its digital music service through, “in-store marketing and broadcast, print and online advertising,” says a Reuters story here.
“Minneapolis-based Best Buy said it would also market a co-branded version of Napster through Bestbuy.com,” says the report.
