at least Marvel Studios is re-inventing old content in a new way. AND in a way that actually interests customers to ACTUALLY go and see it in theatres. I mean, cmon, Indiana Jones pt5 ?!?! Henry Poole Was Here !?!?

they cry that game releases hurt movies, sh*t, they say solar flares influence ticket sales, jfc !

Iron Man and Grand Theft Auto were released the SAME weekend, and both broke records in sales, so take you smarmy, self-righteous, diatribe and get a life.

Stan Lee bypassed Steven Speilberg in ONE movie. AND I have both Iron Man and Hulk in ripped blueray so I can watch it @ home, the movie experience isn't what it used to be, screaming children, rude fascists, and dont get me started on cell phones.

It occurs to me that the basic problem is that movie producers, and music producers are either unwilling to, or incapable of, producing new and interesting content that people might actually be willing to pay for. Sure there are schmucks out there who will go to see any crappy genre romance flick that comes out 10 times a year, or buy the latest single by some random created 'pop' star, but the fact is, most of us have seen or heard it all before, and are sick and tired of it.

We are sick of getting marketed to. We don't need more derivative crap, we need more innovation, and more inspiration. Suing your customers is a really great way to run out of customers.

netflix and itunes are invaluable., just like software, build once, sell many, or in our case, buy once, share many. so we stick it back to 'em.

DRM = doesn't really matter.

both are phase shifted with easily found free software on the internet. we still rent/rip from netflix, their DRM was hacked already, and a quick , easy way to build a library

create better content and we will buy it., until then, we 'evaluate' every movie that is released.

You gave the average joe 18 months for camming, you should look closer to home, file-sharers have better content than you think.
