Don’t let this bank fail, says The Boss

p2pnet news view | P2P | Music:- We can’t let this bank fail, says Bruce Springsteen.
But he’s not talking about one of the greedy institutions currently being bailed around the world at taxpayer expense.
The Boss is, “lending his voice to the fight against hunger in New Jersey by appearing in a major advertising campaign
for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey,” it says.
The George W.Bush recession is probably causing the greatest amount of suffering to poor people.
But Springsteen, a supporter of the food bank for 23 years, is lending his celebrity to the cause.
“With bare shelves and demand for food among state residents far outpacing supply, the FoodBank is in danger of being unable to meet the needs of New Jersey’s hungry,” says the donation site, going on that Springsteen, who, “often donates proceeds from his concerts to the organization,” will headline the ad entitled, ‘We Can’t Let This Bank Fail’.
This ad marks the first time he’s publicly lent his image to the campaign, “due to the urgency of the situation,”" it says, adding:
“Consumers are encouraged to visit www.njfoodbank.org or call 908-355-FOOD (3663) to learn how they can help.”

NJ’s food bank isn’t the only one in this country that’s experiencing bare shelves! It’s happening all across this country! NJ just happens to be lucky that they have a celebrity like Springsteen backing it. btw: just compare the size of NJ and its population to other States and large metro areas
