" Or will it be like in France in 1989 when Louis the XVI paid for the messed created by Louis the XV? "

The way the MCCain Campaign deliderately exascerbated the already strained 'class' relations here,
it will be VERY tough for President Obama to do ANYTHING without being deliberately sabotaged, or
otherwise hampered, so that the other 'side' can point it's finger, regardless of who gets hurt.

It's obvious from some of the comments here and on other boards that many GOP supporters are perfectly
happy to make sure Obama won't be able to help anyone, then avoid taking responsibility for their OWN
actions.

If we don't at least TRY to come together as a Country no one will gain anything.
Things will only get worse.

That's what the GOP wants, and wants badly.

For now I love the idea of Obama as a president! Time will tell how he is doing but it can not be worst than this piece of crap of Bush anyway.

Now the word situation is very dear and we need a super presdent to fix it. I am hoping that Obama is this super president. Our last super president was Roosvelt. although Clinton has been a great president doing most thing right.

I caqn believe that this Bushy still has the nerve to show it's stupid face on TV after all the crimes it comited against our nation. There is no law agaisnt beeing a bad president but there is one agaisnt trempling the constitution and comitting war crime. When are we going to trow this piece of crap in prison?

" Obama is just another politician. He’s owned by somebody, just like every other politician is. "

I , for one, couldn't be happier that he has the opportunity to show me, and the
rest of America, whether or not that overly simplistic statement is true.

Sounds like GOP butthurt to me.

if you read more closely, u will notice that the people allowed to lobby will be the REAL interested parties, not the big money backed special interest groups looking to grease their legislature thru.

and as for proof, <a href="http://www.change.gov" rel="nofollow">Change</a>

Let me be the first to say "Screw the rules, we have money"
I'll believe this when I see some proof.
