EMI v Michael Robertson, MP3tunes: Round II

p2pnet news view | RIAA News:- Anyone dealing with the venal corporate music industry [read Vivendi Universal, EMI, Warner Music and Sony BMG] had better have thick skin and a sense of humour, or they’ll go down, p2pnet posted recently, going on

“EMI Loses Case,” and, “I Get To Keep My Minivan,” says Michael Robertson in his blog post on the fact a federal judge in New York has dismissed a copyright-infringement lawsuit filed by EMI against him, MP3.com and Linspire.

Now,  in Capitol Records v. MP3 Tunes, Robertson has filed an amended answer and counterclaims, accusing EMI and affiliates of deception under the Digital Millenium Copyright Act, deceptive business practices, and unfair competition, says Recording Industry vs The People.

Stay tuned for Round III.
