Reward for stolen Bronfman jewels
p2pnet news view | Off Topic:- The Bronfman family is offering a reward, “for information leading to the recovery of the jewellery stolen from their home in the Bathurst Street/St. Clair Avenue West area of Toronto, Canada on Saturday, November 8″.
So says a post on a new web page linking to a number of shots of glittering (and genuine) sparklers such as the one on the right.
It was posted by members of Canada’s Bronfman clan, of which Edgar Bronfman jr of Warner Music fame, is but one.
The Bronfmans owe their vast fortune to Samuel Bronfman (1889-1971) who, during the Prohibition years, struck it rich in the “alcoholic distilled beverage business,” as the Wikipedia describes it.
Now there’s a private “substantial financial reward” for the return of 59 items of jewellery worth more than $1 million stolen in a break-and-enter incident, says the Toronto Star.
If you know a little something which may help the Bronfmans regain their lost treasure, call the Tips hotline at: (647) 299-1491, or email info@bronfmanjewellery.com.
Rumours that Indiana Jones has been called in should probably be discounted.
