Bell Smartphone Combo: 3-year contract
p2pnet news view Mobiles | Freedom | P2P:- Bell Canada is crowing because it’s suffering under the delusion the CRTC decision to allow it to continue to shackle its users’ bandwidth represents a major victory for its shareholders over the needs of its customers.
Ottawa Gal has suggested that Canadians show Bell who’s in charge, and there are other ways to drive the message home.
Now Bell is trying to foist its new rate plans for RIM BlackBerry and Windows Mobile smartphones.
“Until December 31, new Bell Mobility clients who sign a three-year contract can choose between three Smartphone Combo Plans, starting at $45 per month,” it says.
And it’s touting two other Smartphone Combos (as it calls them) at $70 to $100 a month.
Are the rates good, bad or indifferent?
With Bell behind them, you already know the answer.
But it doesn’t matter. Bell has decided Net Neutrality and treating its customers as decent people who deserve value for money aren’t useful components of its business plans under its new owners.
So do you need a Smartphone Combo? Do you need anything from Bell?
And don’t forget to put Bell’s video store on your ‘ignore’ list.

Right on Jon, expose Bell for what they are … a Rip-Off !
Most PPL don’t know that if you sign a contract you are held responsible for that contract, but most don’t even read it or understand it. SUCKERS!
If you actually read it it says you can’t do squat no matter what Bell does to you or if they make any changes within this time. Now you are screwed!
Rules for the people:
Never Ever sign a contract, agreement, form or any piece of paper that you don’t understand fully. This means every word in layer speak too. YES, it’s totally different than what i’m typing here.
eg. word apply: [same for application, applicable etc.]
common meaning is – to put to a task, make something happen
lawyer speak – to beg on your hands and knees from a master
Therefore if you apply for a service or sign any contract you are begging for that service and you have given them power over you. You have just lost and signed away all your rights. Get it?
This is how they trick you
If you get a lawyer to translate it then be sure he/she does a very good job and you trust ‘em explicitly.
So, stay with monthly payments and hold them to their service promises or any changes they try. This way you can change providers at any time they try to rip you off. This way you can also take them to court as you wish.
This also goes for when you buy a house, car, insurance, look for job and everything!
If they can’t take your honest word for it and handshake then you don’t want to deal with them.
A way out of their game is to create your own contract with your terms and stick it to them. If they don’t sign your’s you know they are rip-offs.
BTW: Bell’s rates suck
I demand $15 per month for all phone services included with no rate increases for 20 yrs! That’s cell or land-line!

With the amount of people dropping Bell these days for all services, you have to be out to lunch to get into any contract with them.

ive had bell breach two contracts
and due to the last one i ended up in a hospital
no phone to get help = made me worse.
now once i get the 75$ to file.
Im suing them for misprepresentation, fraud , and defamation ( last is because i can prove your dslreports forum is a schill pot and i have screen shots of one bell emplyee threatening to attack me with his fellow employees in a parking lot by the court house to prevent me form suiing bell )
my response to the latter was “your awful stupid ot attack someone near a courthouse and i have a cane”
and i get a warning at dslreports, and they immediately safeguard there bell masters by removing the pages.

OH in case you work for bell , i am spreadign the word in england and scotland to try and help derail the band of england giving you money for that lil deal. Imagine it failing and all this throttle crap to get more revenue is for naught.
I am seriously considering migration now AWAY form TEKSAVVY because even though they are great, they still PAY BELL 20$ per account.
