This won't last too long. There will I am sure come a way to remove it's intrusion. I personally hate ads and take offense to them being forced on me.

KChan above mentions you get something for free for ads. Not really...it costs you your time. Time better spent doing something else. You know the old adage, time is money.

Those that host ads have managed to convince the public that it is necessary. What the real deal is, is it's another way to double dip for income.

And I gather this will be for public and open p2p spots. If you are private, I am curious to see how this will work. One way or another, the ads will be gone.

As a last resort, I encourage you to do just what I do. When I walk in a store, before I even pick up the product I am considering, if I remember seeing that maker taking up and wasting my time with ads, then it's on to the next product.

Think about this...you don't get anything of value for an ad in extra product capability. What you get is your time wasted and additional hidden costs in the product to pay for those ads. So it costs you more for nothing of value and that makes the product not better but more expensive. You are paying in essence for them wasting your time. That's not exactly what I buy a product for. I buy a product to do a job or function and I expect it to do so with a reasonable cost and to truly do the task.

When I see ads, the first thought I have is that there is something wrong with that product. That maker is having to pay to get your attention about it. If it is a great product, you don't have to do that. People will tell other people what works for them and they will do so at no charge. They will also tell you what does not do so well. Listen to them when you need something; ask. That's the real deal when it comes to a commercial, not the irritating ad.

Advertiser has an unwritten contract with the consumer. You watch our ads and we will give you something for free. Commercial TV give me shows and news to watch, Google gives me free search engine, P2Pnet gives me something to read on my coffee break.

PeerMatrix is P2P SPAM. It is like billboards on the side of the road, gives nothing and ugly ups the place.

Shame
