Drugs ‘n booze ‘n Amy Winehouse
p2pnet news view Music:- I was in the middle British rock scene when it started and I’m one of the lucky few who survived the drugs and booze which went with it.
But literally half my life went down the tubes before I was able to get straight and one of the reasons I highlight the troubles of stars such as Amy Winehouse is to try to drive home the message that it doesn’t matter who you are, if you’re one of those people who can get hooked on drugs and/or booze, the only way you’ll go is down.
It make take a while, but you’ll wind up dead, and there’s no glamour in it.
My daughter, Emma, is 12 and she’s been told in depth and in detail how much she’ll be risking if she ever starts taking chances with chemicals, no matter whether they’re swallowed, injected, snorted, or used in any other way on a regular basis.
She was cruising through Google Images and saw the Amy Winehouse before and after pix on the right.
Big difference.
“Amy Winehousewas back in hospital last night after a drink and drugs binge sparked by a screaming match with husband BLAKE down the phone,” says The Sun, going on:
“The junkie diva, 25, was rushed to a London clinic after collapsing with a ’seizure’ during the bender.
“Doctors performed a battery of tests and were yesterday continuing to monitor her.”
Junkie diva. And it could be her epitaph.
