Heres a crazy idea!

How about you start releasing all major blockbusters, the ones most likely to be pirated, in 3D. The recorded quality would be shit, so no one would even bother uploading them to any torrent sites. Then we can actually find decent releases on TPB/Demonoid

Not to give the MPAA undo credit, but I think that Glickman is referring to James Cameron's Avatar project. What Cameron has in mind is not your parents 3D movie technology, or even like the Journey To The Center Of The Earth remake.

According to what I've read, Cameron has been working on this technology since before Titanic. Reportedly, Cameron invited Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson to his studio for a short sample. Apparently their jaws were on the floor by the end of the film. Both said that movies in general will never be the same after Avatar. Cameron speaks about it in depth here:

oh no!, I made innuendo of a movie, ( I never even actually named the movie in question) owned and copyrighted by Warner Bros., (copyright proof is waivered, innuendo is already substantiated, due to DMCA takedown automated request ) containing derogatory comments towards said infringement could be considered libel, due to my un-sanctioned opinion that your crap is, well, crap. And potential 'fair use' torture because I actually posted a quote from said copyrighted movie, owned by Warner Bros in my retort.

THE Joker.
