p2pnet news view Movies | Crime:- Montreal actor Michael Rudder was one of two Canadians injured during the horrifying Mumbai (Bombay) terrorist attacks.

About two dozen armed militants stormed the two hotels on Wednesday night and also attacked a Jewish centre in a residential building and took several Israeli citizens hostage, says the Times Online.

“The operation appears to have been meticulously planned, with the militants displaying detailed knowledge of the area as well as signs of having extensive military training,” it says.

Rudder was with a group of yoga and meditation enthusiasts when he was shot three times and seriously injured when gunmen stormed his hotel, says the Globe and Mail.

He was shot in the arm, leg and stomach, is, “doing well,” the Montreal Gazette quotes the spokesman for the US meditation group Rudder is travelling with, as saying.

“He’s stable. Not enough to fly home yet, but he’s stable.”

The other Canadian victim, Helen Connolly, a yoga instructor from Markham, Ontario, was grazed by a bullet, says the Globe and Mail.
