Once upon a time, they had complete control.
A tiny handful of people with no qualifications other than their ability to claw their way to the top in organisations which existed, and exist, solely to maximise the profits of their investors, decided what we saw and heard.
These days, however, we decide via such as Facebook (founded to make money through advertising but, to the distress of its owners, controlled by the people who use it), blogs, Web sites, IM, texting and all the other 21st digital century communication technologies.
And Twitter, the strange, cyber micro-organism used by people around the world from all walks of life to send and read other users’ mini-posts, called tweets.

With more than 6 million members worldwide, an estimated 80 messages, or “tweets,” were being sent to Twitter.com via SMS every five seconds, providing eyewitness accounts and updates.
Many Twitter users also sent pleas for blood donors to make their way to specific hospitals in Mumbai where doctors were faced with low stocks and rising casualties
Mumbai-based bloggers, “turned their Metroblog into a news wire service, while the blog MumbaiHelp offered to help users get through to their family and friends in the city, or to get information about them, and has had a number of successes,” says CNN.
“Flickr also proved a useful source of haunting images chronicling the aftermath of the attacks.”
But, says CNN, the online news reports weren’t down to you. It was them —- “A quick trawl through the enormous numbers of tweets showed that most were sourced from mainstream media.”
Mainstream media companies — many, if not most, of them owned by the corporate entertainment cartels — are desperately trying to find ways to stay relevant online.
It’d be interesting to see what would happen if the lamescream media shut down for a week.
Meanwhile, more and more people are going online with blogs and camcorders.

I disagree,
major movement is on to expose every last one of the b*st*rds … and they are scared, deathly scared as to what will happen to them once they are fully exposed and we find out who they really are.
As Kennedy stated [not in exact words] … there’s a power so sinister, so diabolical, so secret … that it has to be exposed and has to go.
It works like this:
we the people > people that rule or try to rule over us > half people that rule over them > angels, gods, lords that rule over them > actual hidden [not for long] rulers of earth
God and the universe just may be the same thing and has nothing to do with rulers of earth stated above, except for the fact that even they got messages from God.
