Sarah Palin ‘interview in the oil fields’

p2pnet news view | Politics:- Alaska governor Sarah Palin’s sartorial trappings are still generating headlines.

“Ethics disclosure forms recently obtained under the Freedom of Information Act contained this oddity,” says the Washington Post’s Reliable Source — “$300 in clothes and footwear from … CNBC.”

When an interview was conducted in Palin’s Anchorage office in August, just before she was teamed up with John McCain, she wore her own suit and high heels, according to CNBC sources, says the story, going on:

“The producers asked to continue the interview in the oil fields,” because since Palin didn’t have outdoor gear at her office, “a CNBC assistant raced out to buy a jacket and hiking shoes for the location shoot, it says, adding:

“The network didn’t give it another thought, but Palin dutifully reported it as a gift on her disclosure form.”

(Thanks, Jazz, I think ;) )

One Response to “Sarah Palin ‘interview in the oil fields’”

  1. Paul Says:

Like most of the masses I thought Palin was a bit of a moron but not more of one than any newspaper editor(s) that thought this was news. This sort of “gift” is seriously a non-event.

Not meaning to jab at p2p here, I’m assuming this article is to make fun of such editors and newspapers.
