Jon Stuart laughs at Canada Coalition
p2pnet news view Politics | TV:- Comedian Jon Stewart thinks Canada’s latest political crisis is pretty funny.
We’re, “facing the biggest political challenge since the ‘controversial decision to reshape bacon’,” he said, pretending to be, ” incredulous that a coalition of opposition politicians tried to oust Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper,” says the CBC, going on »»»
“Force him from office? You can do that?” he asked. “Because we’ve had no confidence in our guy for quite some time now, and he’s taking forever to leave.”
He also seemed puzzled by the crisis in light of Harper’s numbers in political polls.
“I mean, this guy — his approval rating is 46 per cent and they’re trying to kick him out,” he said. “You know what we call a 46 per cent approval rating down here? President Clinton.”
He also showed a video of a protester shouting, “What are you afraid of, sir?” at Harper.
“Sir?” Stewart says, according to the CBC.
“You’re heckling him. It’s not a job interview! Do you Canadians save all your obnoxiousness for hockey games?”
(Thanks, Ben)

Why oh why can’t Rick Mercer even try to be as funny as Jon Stewart instead of going around the country doing stuff?

Stewart is right. You don’t call someone “Sir” when you heckle him.
It should be more like: Hey you conservative neocon fool, get off the stage, pack your greedy ass out a here … and take your greedy tyrants with ya!
And don’t forget to move in with your bum buddy Bush and his satanic banker cult.
